We did a short free-write. Our topic was a story that we believed the world needed to here. Your free-write should be between 1/4 page and 1 page. Our model text was an article called "Just killing it" by Rick Reilly if you would like to read it again. Tomorrow we will finish our first express lane edit. Most students also turned in their signed disclosures today. Here is the pre-test.

The required materials are also due in class that day. If you cannot print the disclosure, I have a copy you can pick up. Remember the required materials for this class are these: one 3-ringed binder, one set of 5-tabbed dividers, and loose leaf lined paper.
Today in class... We reviewed important school policies and procedures. I have attached the PowerPoints for your convenience. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Today in class... We had a great time. I am very excited for this year. I hope your are too. Please check this blog often.
